Brian is a veteran of the retirement space, having spent decades consulting in a wide range of functions including actuarial, investment, and administration roles. His consulting history has included strategic assignments involving both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Brian has held leadership positions at several major actuarial and consulting firms. Brian is active in both the Chicago public policy community and the actuarial profession. He is a long-time board member and a Vice Chair of The Civic Federation, a non-partisan government research organization. Brian also leads Septon Strategies, an actuarial consulting firm.
